Wiki and Willow Babies
All 3 babies. 22 days old, 18 days old and 17 days old.
Wiki and Willow have 3 babies! Hatch dates are 12-8-2010, 12-12-2010 and 12-13-2010.
Well the chicks are growing like crazy! For this clutch, we decided to let Wiki and Willow do all the hard work raising the chicks while we pulled them each day for playing and socializing. They are tame and can be handled, but were not hand fed by me. All three chicks are American Cinnamon Pied Females. Since Wiki is Split for Cinnamon any visual chicks they produce are females. Expected Weaning date is Mid February. They have all fledged from the nest and starting to eat big bird food with Wiki and Willow. Shouldn't be long now!

Chico and Gigi Babies
14 days, 13 days, 11 days and 9 days old.
Chico and Gigi have 4 babies! Hatch dates are 12-16-2010, 12-17-2010, 12-19-2010 and 12-21-2010.
Boy was this clutch ever surprising! All 4 Chicks are different Mutations. Unfortunately, with Chico and Gigi we can not determine gender of the chicks from mutation. They will have to be DNA'd. Chick 1 is a beautiful Cinnamon Dutch Blue Pied, Chick 2 is a Green Cinnamon Pied, Chick 3 is a Dutch Blue Pied and Chick 4 is a Green Pied. These babies have been pulled for hand feeding. Their estimated weaning dates start around the end of February-first of March.
